Movie News: 'Shazam' Character Details Revealed; Iconic Filmmaker Tobe Hooper Passes Away

Shazam: Readers of DC's comic book series Shazam known that the character is the alter ego of a boy named Billy Batson, leading some to question how that will be handled in the upcoming big-screen adaptation. Will the actor cast as Shazam be de-aged to play Billy Batson? Director David F. Sandberg (Annabelle: Creation, above) says: "I wouldn’t want to do that. That seems like way too much of a hassle. So I think it’s just kind of best to have a kid and an adult." [Collider]
